Summer Games 2024 Announcement

Dear CEA-Community,

The last donation-deciding matches of the Spring 2024 season are in the books and placements with corresponding charity contributions have been updated in the previous posts.

 
Before we get to our next announcements, please join me in thanking our amazing and tireless Game Leads! Without them, we wouldn’t be able to run all these awesome tournaments as part of the Corporate Charity Championships raising money for charity.

Summer & Fall announcements:

  • Looking at next season, the CEA always strives to provide all participants with the best possible player experience. To improve on the current season, we prepared a short feedback survey. Please consider sharing it with your team and filling it out. It’s the best way to provide suggestions for future seasons: Feedback Survey,
  • Speaking of the future season: We decided we didn’t want to wait that long and are happy to share a lineup for the first CEA Corporate Summer Games!,
  • League of Legends is back for a single-day event with LoL Arena on July 13 led by and ,
  • Rocket League as our largest tournament also can’t be missed. will run a mini-series on July 13&20,
  • Growing our Fighting Game Community, will be back organizing a Street Fighter tournament on July 13,

Registrations for all events will open up next week. Entry fees will be $25 per team with 75% going to the charity donation prize pool and 25% going towards funds covering broadcasts for next season.

  • In addition: For the first time, the CEA will run a racing event joining Microsoft’s Charity iRacing Event on July 17! More information to come in the upcoming days.,
  • The next regular season of the Corporate Charity Championships (Fall 2024) is scheduled to start on September 7th. Game roster announcements and registration start will happen at the end of our Summer Games.,
