Rule Summary:
• Teams of 4 (+ up to 6 substitute players)
• All players of a team have to be employees of the same company (see Player Eligibility rules in the detailed rulebook)
• Games played online on chess.com
• 7 weeks of Swiss tournament followed by 5 weeks of playoffs (First week is February 13th , Finals May 15th ,break for Easter)
• By default: matches played on Saturdays at 10am Pacific, 1pm Eastern, 6pm British, 7pm Central European, 11:30pm Indian time on Saturdays (unless otherwise rescheduled with opponent team)
• Matches are 7min+2sec increment and in a 4v4 team match everybody plays every opponent (4 games pP - matches take about 1.5h)
• 1 featured match live streamed on Twitch. Playoffs will be broadcasted on chess.com’s main channel!
• Games featured in weekly blogpost on chess.com
• Entry fee of $160 per team
• Top 3 finishing teams can chose a charity to donate the entry fee donation pool to.
